This is one of those weekends where there is so much good stuff happening, it’s difficult to choose.

No, I’m not sick of the New Mexico State Fair yet.
What better place can you think of for people watching? An airport? Not even close.
The mall? Bitch, please!

When I was in my teens, I broke into my school campus and raced my motorcycle up and down the sidewalks past the classrooms where I normally sat listlessly. It’s hard to describe the feeling I had running havoc in those empty grounds normally bustling with students and teachers.

Last year, I asked a co-worker if she was going to the NM State Fair, to which she smirked, “Um, we’re not State Fair people.”
Her response was something I would have said years ago. Nowadays, I look forward to the gluttony-of-the-senses of the Fair.
